I absolutely love black beans. They are a great source of protein and are a classic in mexican food. I made a spread this weekend for my lunches. I like to put some hummus on a tortilla and then add a ton of vegetables and pack it in my lunch. I also pack a little container of salsa to add some flavor. The garbanzo bean hummus I normally use is not the best combo with the salsa so I decided to make a spread out of black beans. I loosely followed this recipe.
